Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

By accessing and using Vento, you agree to these Terms of Service. You confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old
You have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
You are not restricted from using online services under applicable law
Event organizers and partners must both be at least 18 years old
All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete

2. Your Account

When you create a Vento account, you are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and authentication tokens
Providing accurate, truthful, and complete information
Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized access or security breaches
Using only one account per person (no duplicate accounts)
Complying with all applicable laws and these Terms

Account Suspension & Termination

Vento reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent behavior, or misuse the platform. Termination may result in permanent loss of access to your account and associated data.

3. The Vento Platform

Vento provides a comprehensive event management solution featuring:

Event creation and management with customizable details
Guest list management (individual and bulk uploads)
Partner collaboration for multi-organizer events
QR code generation and attendance tracking via scanning
Digital invitation card design and customization
WhatsApp invitation delivery with RSVP tracking
Analytics and reporting for event insights

4. Package Purchases

Vento offers tiered subscription packages with varying capacities and features:

Packages are priced based on guest capacity (100, 500, 1000+ guests)
Event types are included in packages (weddings, birthdays, graduations, corporate events, etc.)
Prices are displayed in SAR (Saudi Riyal) and are subject to applicable taxes
Extra services include invitation card design, graphic designer services, and additional event slots
All payments are processed through MyFatoorah, a secure payment gateway
Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy (see section below)

5. Events and Guests

As an event organizer, you can:

Create unlimited events (subject to package capacity)
Add guests individually or in bulk (spreadsheet uploads)
Track guest RSVP status (pending, going, not_going, maybe)
Set guest capacity limits based on your package
Allocate guest capacity to event partners
Use "Ready to Send" workflow to approve invitations before distribution

6. Partner Collaboration

Partners are collaborators you add to your events. Partners can:

Add their own guests to the event within allocated capacity
View event details and guest information
Mark their guest list as "Ready to Send" for organizer approval
Receive notifications about their guest RSVPs

Partner Requirements

Partners must be at least 18 years old. Event organizers are responsible for adding partners and can remove them at any time. Partners do not automatically have access to all event data—access is controlled by the organizer.

7. Invitation Cards

Vento offers customizable digital invitation cards with multiple design options:

Pre-designed templates for various event types
AI-generated card designs for quick customization
Professional graphic designer services (additional fee)
Custom branding, colors, and event-specific details
Pricing varies by service level (templates vs. custom design)

8. QR Code Attendance

Vento generates unique QR codes for attendance tracking:

Each guest receives a unique QR code in their invitation
Operators can scan codes to mark guests as "checked in"
QR scans are logged with timestamp and location data
Attendance reports are generated for organizers and partners
QR codes can be printed or displayed on screen at events

9. Notifications

Vento sends notifications through multiple channels:

WhatsApp invitations with event details and RSVP options
Push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (can be disabled in settings)
Event reminders and countdown notifications
RSVP update notifications for organizers and partners
Partner status updates on guest allocation and "Ready to Send" workflows

10. Payments and Refunds

Payment terms and refund policy:

All payments are processed in SAR through MyFatoorah
Subscription packages are billed as per the selected billing cycle
Extra services (designer cards, additional events) are one-time purchases
Refunds must be requested within 14 days of purchase for unused services
Partially-used packages may not be eligible for refunds
Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method
Vento reserves the right to adjust pricing with 30 days notice

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Vento for:

Illegal activities, fraud, or harassment
Sending spam, malware, or harmful content
Scraping, hacking, or unauthorized access attempts
Impersonating others or providing false information
Violating intellectual property rights
Sharing nude, explicit, or harmful content
Engaging in sexual exploitation or abuse
Threatening, stalking, or harassing other users

12. Intellectual Property

Vento and all its features are owned by Vento. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use Vento for personal event management. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute Vento's code or design
Reverse engineer or attempt to derive Vento's source code
Use Vento's trademarks, logos, or branding without permission

13. User Content

You retain ownership of event information, guest messages, photos, and media you upload. By using Vento, you grant us a license to store, display, and process your content as necessary to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to share all user content.

14. Disclaimers

Vento is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee:

Uninterrupted or error-free service
That all features will meet your expectations
That third-party actions (partners, guests, payment providers) will be reliable
Data recovery if your account is deleted

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vento is not liable for:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of revenue, profits, or data
Damages caused by third parties, partners, or guests
Service interruptions or downtime

Liability Cap

Vento's total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months.

16. Termination

Vento may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these Terms or engage in unlawful activity. Upon termination, your access to Vento is immediately revoked. Data may be deleted according to our data retention policy.

17. Changes to These Terms

Vento may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Saudi Arabia.
